UltraTech 4-Drum Inline Spill Pallet

This UltraTech 4-drum inline spill pallet is a connectable system that holds four 55-gallon drums in one row, about 26 inches deep. Liquid that spills on the decks runs into a bladder reservoir underneath, giving it 110 gallons of total containment in a deck only 5.75 inches tall.

The kit includes two 2-drum spill decks, one bladder, one bulkhead fitting and one T-strip, so it is ready to use out of the box. Need more room later? Link on more decks with bulkhead fittings and T-strips. The UltraTech loading ramp (C1089INU) makes it easy to roll drums on.

With 110 gallons of sump capacity it can hold the entire contents of a full 55-gallon drum. That meets the EPA secondary containment sizing rule in 40 CFR 264.175 (the larger of 10% of the total volume stored or 100% of the largest container) for four drums, and it supports an SPCC plan.

How much liquid does the UltraTech 4-Drum Inline Spill Pallet hold?

The sump holds 110 gallons. It is sized for four drums.

Does it meet EPA secondary containment requirements?

Yes. The 110-gallon sump holds more than the largest container on it, which is what the EPA 40 CFR 264.175 rule requires for up to four drums. Your SPCC plan or local inspector has the final say for your site.

Does it have a drain plug?

No. This model has no drain, so everything you catch stays contained until you pump or absorb it out.

Can I move it with a forklift?

It has no fork pockets. Position it empty, then load it in place.

Can I use it outdoors?

Yes, but rain will collect in an open sump and use up containment capacity. Under a roof or with a cover is best.
