This Eagle IBC tote spill pallet holds one IBC tote (totes up to 50 in. square) over a 400-gallon containment sump. Set a 275- or 330-gallon intermediate bulk container on the deck and any leak from the valve, a cracked bottle or a dispensing mistake is caught underneath.

It is built from polyethylene, which will not rust and resists oils, acids, caustics and most chemicals. The deck supports 10,000 lb so a full tote sits securely.

With 400 gallons of sump capacity it can hold the full contents of a 330-gallon or 275-gallon IBC tote, which meets the EPA 40 CFR 264.175 sizing rule and supports an SPCC plan.

How much liquid does the Eagle IBC Spill Pallet hold?

The sump holds 400 gallons. It is sized for one tote.

Does it meet EPA secondary containment requirements?

Yes. The 400-gallon sump holds more than the largest container on it, which is what the EPA 40 CFR 264.175 rule requires for a standard IBC tote. Your SPCC plan or local inspector has the final say for your site.

Does it have a drain plug?

Yes. The drain plug lets you empty collected liquid in a controlled way during sump maintenance.

Can I move it with a forklift?

It has no fork pockets. Position it empty, then load it in place.

Can I use it outdoors?

Yes, but rain will collect in an open sump and use up containment capacity. Under a roof or with a cover is best.
