product description
This Eagle 4-drum spill control pallet gives four 55-gallon drums a raised, sturdy deck over a deep containment sump of 66 gallons. It is the classic choice for permanent drum storage in shops, plants and warehouses: drums sit on the grating, and anything that leaks or splashes during dispensing collects below, out of the way.
It is molded from yellow polyethylene, which will not rust or corrode and stands up to oils, acids, caustics and most industrial chemicals. Cleanup is just soap and water.
With 66 gallons of sump capacity it can hold the entire contents of a full 55-gallon drum. That meets the EPA secondary containment sizing rule in 40 CFR 264.175 (the larger of 10% of the total volume stored or 100% of the largest container) for four drums, and it supports an SPCC plan.
The ramp shown in some photos is sold separately as the Eagle spill pallet ramp (C1689E).
Good for
- Oil, lubricant and hydraulic fluid drums in maintenance shops
- Chemical and solvent drums in warehouses and plants
- Waste oil and used-fluid collection areas
- Fleet garages, manufacturing lines and loading docks

Questions and answers
How much liquid does the Eagle 4-Drum Spill Control Pallet hold?
The sump holds 66 gallons. It is sized for four drums.
Does it meet EPA secondary containment requirements?
Yes. The 66-gallon sump holds more than the largest container on it, which is what the EPA 40 CFR 264.175 rule requires for up to four drums. Your SPCC plan or local inspector has the final say for your site.
Does it have a drain plug?
Yes. The drain plug lets you empty collected liquid in a controlled way during sump maintenance.
Can I move it with a forklift?
Yes, built-in fork pockets let you reposition it, even when loaded.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes, but rain will collect in an open sump and use up containment capacity. Under a roof or with a cover is best.
