The Catch All Floor Mat - Garage Floor Mat

A 6' Wide Absorbent Mat for Use Under Small to Medium Size Vehicles.

Are you tired of cleaning up the water running all over your garage floor from the rain water or melting snow that your car brought in? Is the road salt doing damage to the garage floor concrete? The six foot wide CleanUp Stuff Mat is an economical catch all floor mat for your garage.

The top side of this floor mat is a super absorbent polypropylene with a vinyl backing bonded to the top side of the garage floor protector. It is charcoal gray in color and will absorb gallons of water. Cleaning the the mat is easy. Just vacuum the dirt after the mat has dried out when you are doing your Spring cleaning.

The backing on the garage mat has a three year warranty against tearing, cracking or leaking. The backing prevents fluids from reaching the floor, protecting it from stains.

Melting snow in Michigan problem solved.

"I can't tell you how pleased we are with the large mat that we bought this Winter to put under our car and by the back door in the garage. For 30 years we have had water at the back door from poor drainage when the garage floor was poured and this Winter it was dry the whole time. I plan on ordering more just to clean up the look of the rest of the garage. I'd love for people to understand how much water these mats absorb. We live in Michigan where all Winter we had snow on the ground and the cars pulled it in every day. I guess this is where the true test would be. :-) Thank you for the wonderful product.",

Q: How much water will it absorb?

A: The mat absorbs approximately 5 ounces of water per square foot. A 6'x16' mat (96 square feet x 5 ounces) equals 480 ounces or (480 ounces divided by 128 ounces - a gallon) equals approximately 3.75 gallons. Note that absorption is over time.

With evaporation and depending upon the snow amounts the mat has been effective. Some years in certain parts of the country customers have had to use a wet dry vac because of the amount snow.

Q: live in fl. just had my floor done and I don't want the hot tires to do any damage to it , will this product work for me?

A: This is a tough question to answer completely. It depends upon quality of the product you used on your garage floor and if the product is completely cured. We have sold our mat for over 30 years with very few problems with hot tires/floor surfaces. The problems have not been that the mat is damaged by the hot tires. The problem is that the mat backing stuck to the floor because the coating was not completely cured or was inferior. I would recommend you contact the manufacture of the product you used for coating your floor before purchasing a mat.

Q: In my basement, water wells up from under the floor when there is a heavy rain. I have 2 questions. *Would I put the mat down upside down, since the water is coming from underneath? *How will it be to walk on the mat after it has absorbed water? Will it feel squishy?

A: We have never tried or tested the mat for what you want to do. My main concern is that the could be slippery. Also because the absorbent side is now it would not air dry and would constantly be saturated with water. If I can think of a solution I will contact you. Thank you for your question. Jim
